Nov 28: India got a blow before the start of the five match One day cricket series against West Indies as pace spearhead Praveen Kumar was ruled out of the opener due to a niggle.
He is expected to be fit for the second one dayer to be played at Visakhapatnam, as he is supposed to join the squad on Tuesday.
"Praveen Kumar has a niggle so he is not available for first ODI. We expect him to join the squad tomorrow and be fit for the second match," skipper Virender Sehwag said on Monday.
In Praveen's absence, Karnataka seamer Vinay Kumar is expected to lead the pace attack with new comers Umesh Yadav and Varun Aaron.
