Hyderabad, Oct 13: Team India have been very successful in the past few years claiming the first World Twenty20 International Cricket championship and crowned World Champions in 2011, though the recent success nobody would have thought Team India would be white-washed in the recent tour of England. The new look Indian team have just four survivors from the side which played in the world cup final, skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Guatam Gambhir, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina. Injured Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj singh, Zaheer Khan, Munaf Patel have been ruled out.
Poor performances in the previous series also cost first choice and pacer S Sreesanth a place in the squad. R Ashwin will take over as No. 1 spinner with Ravindra Jadeja being the second spinner. A surprise inclusion has been leg-spinner Rahul Sharma after an impressive performance in first class cricket and last season IPL with Pune Warriors.
Concerned with pacers the selectors went for karnataka medium-pacer Sreenath Aravind and Varun Aaron who was part of the ODI squad in England but did not play, will replace Zaheer Khan.

The visitors won both their warm-up games, first by defending 219 and second by setting up a daunting 367, while Indian hopefuls and discards fought in a dreary Challenger Series. So with England completing their soil tests in style.
Kevin Pietersen returns for England after being omitted for the one-dayers against India at home, but the tourists are without pace spearheads James Anderson who is being rested, and Stuart Broad who is injured.

Despite injuries to star players and the humiliating defeats on English soil, India appeared unfazed. "England played very well in England and deserved to win, but we will do well at home," said middle-order batsman Raina.
The remaining four matches after the Hyderabad opener will be played in New Delhi on October 17, Mohali on the 20th, Mumbai on the 23rd and Kolkata on the 25th. England will round off the tour with a Twenty20 game in Kolkata on October 29.
